I grew up loving choose-your-own-adventure books, but actually building them is a pain: keeping track of paths, writing variations, and finding art that matches every scene. I built Questas to make that whole process feel playful instead of intimidating.
With Questas you:
- Describe a character, a concept, and a visual style
- Get a full branching story with matching AI art
- Then tweak, add twists, and share a link so others can play through it
I’ve been using it to make adventures about my own life, toys for my kid, and little “what if” stories for friends. I’d love to see what you create with it.

Very cool! It would be great if, at the end, the story could be turned into a full cartoon or a book with illustrations ready for printing. Later, you could add generation of toys or other merchandise, which movie creators currently make money from after release.

@charlie_clark I got stuck at the registration step. It doesn't have Google login, and when I try to sign up with email, I’m not receiving the verification code.
I used to play many games that offer multiple story paths, and they were really fun. Every time you reach a story point, making different choices leads to different endings. But these types of games are actually very difficult to develop. I believe your tool can inspire many people to create different kinds of stories.
It was a fun interaction — I created a story, but every thread ended after just two steps and the whole narrative stopped. Is it actually supposed to be that short?

Does Questas let you export story flows to Figma or other design tools, or is it more standalone? Also curious how you handle branching logic, can designers create complex "choose your own adventure" paths without code?
