Hi Product Hunt 👋
I’m Red Viciousse, the maker of Quartz Studio.
Quartz Studio started from a very practical need: creating clear support guides, technical procedures and incident reports without wasting time manually organizing screenshots after the fact.
The app is built for Windows and focuses on local-first documentation. You can capture steps, review screenshots, blur sensitive information, enrich descriptions with OCR, and export clean HTML, PDF or DOCX documents.
A few important design choices:
- everything is processed locally on the user’s device;
- no keyboard input is captured;
- no resident background service is installed;
- captures and exports are not intentionally uploaded to a Quartz Studio cloud service.
Quartz Studio is especially useful for support teams, QA, IT operations, trainers and consultants who need clean visual documentation from real workflows.
It just went live on the Microsoft Store, and I’d love your feedback on the positioning, the landing page and the product idea.
Thank you for checking it out 🙏
