This product was not featured by Product Hunt yet. It will not be visible on their landing page and won't be ranked (cannot win product of the day regardless of upvotes).
I built QRSpell because I often see QR codes daily, whether in meetings slides, documents, online training and web pages. It always felt like a hassle to pick up my phone just to scan a QR code and send the URL back to my MacBook. All I wanted was to instantly get the data from the QR 🙂.
QRSpell is a small macOS menu bar app that lets you scan QR codes directly from your screen. You can scan a selected area or the full screen (including all connected monitors) and then choose to copy or open the result.
If you want to check something later, you can find previous scans results in the scan history.
It is designed to be simple, fast, and private.
I would be happy to hear feedback from Mac users who deal with QR codes daily.
