Qonsider
Choose what each contact sees. Keep your own private room.
A friend and a work contact don't need to see the same things about you. Qonsider lets you choose what you share with each person, then keep your conversation, selected details and photos in a private room. Start with a link or QR code; the other person chooses whether to connect. Explore an example without an account.
Hi, I'm building Qonsider because a new acquaintance, a close friend and a work contact don't necessarily need the same information about you.
For example, you can show your portfolio to a work contact and selected travel photos to a friend. Once you choose to connect, you get a private room with your conversation and what you've chosen to share with that person. You can return to the room later to keep in touch or find something you shared.
Opening a presentation doesn't automatically create a contact. Each person chooses whether to continue, subject to the contact settings, and controls their own presentation and shared albums.
You can explore a fictional example without creating an account:

Qonsider is a web project built with Next.js, React and Prisma, with AI assistance. I'm still improving the flow and wording. Can you tell what the other person can see? What would make a room useful enough for you to try with someone you know?

Who hunted Qonsider?
Qonsider was hunted by Lamin Touray. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
