Im basically a finance guy (Indian CA) who is also interested in Tech. This Idea came to my mind during 2016 demonitization in India. Now I was able to develop same using Claude
Joined my local clinic's queue through QLine and watched my token update in real time without refreshing, which was a nice surprise. Simple setup, would actually use this.
the join with unique ID flow is super clean, customers basically just scan and get a token number without any sign up hassle.
Really cool concept for small clinics and shops. One thing that would make this way more useful is letting customers get an SMS or WhatsApp alert when their token is close, so they can step out instead of staring at the screen. That alone would convince a lot of hesitant users to try virtual queues over standing in line.
