Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built QForge because I wanted a SQL client that felt native on macOS and didn't need a constant internet connection or an account just to browse a database. A few things it does: - SQL editor with schema-aware completion, snippets, and multi-statement scripts - Editable result grids — inline edits, add/delete rows, full undo/redo, commit-or-revert - Schema browser + a read-only ER diagram (🔑/🔗 markers, click to trace relationships) - A query analyzer that runs EXPLAIN/EXPLAIN ANALYZE and compares two queries for correctness + performance - SSH tunnel support, per-connection environment badges (Local/Dev/Staging/Prod), and an optional read-only mode that blocks writes at the app level - CSV/JSON/Excel/SQL import and export, for a whole database, a table, or just a query result It's free for everyday use (unlimited connections, full editor, schema explorer, query analyzer). Pro ($49 lifetime, no subscription) unlocks unlimited query tabs/history, full ER diagrams, Schema Compare, Data Compare, and Impact Analysis — verified fully offline via a local license file, no account needed. One heads-up: the macOS build isn't notarized yet, so Gatekeeper will warn on first launch — right-click the app → Open gets past it. Working on proper notarization next. Would love feedback, especially from anyone juggling multiple MySQL/Postgres environments day to day. Happy to answer anything below! **Note on the Gatekeeper line**: keep it in unless you've shipped a notarized build before launch day (see `launch-day-checklist.md` — this is called out there as the top pre-launch risk). Saying it yourself, first, reads as transparent; a visitor hitting the warning with no warning reads as broken.
