Hey PH! 👋
I built PulseCheck because most uptime tools only answer half the question: they'll tell you if a URL stops responding, but they have no idea if your nightly backup, cron job, or scheduled task silently stopped running. That second failure mode is way easier to miss, since nothing "errors," it just quietly stops happening.
So PulseCheck does both: ping a URL on a schedule like a normal uptime checker, or give a background job a unique check-in URL and get alerted the moment it stops showing up.
Free tier is 10 monitors, 5-minute checks, no card needed. Built it on Cloudflare Workers with Durable Objects handling the scheduling, so there's no external cron dependency running the checks.
Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's had a cron job fail silently and not know until it mattered.

Who hunted PulseCheck?
PulseCheck was hunted by Ryan Miller. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
