Pudding
A cute Mac cleaner that shows what's eating your disk
Pudding turns everything on your Mac's disk into jellies: the bigger the jelly, the more space it takes. It only suggests what's safe to delete (caches, old iPhone backups, node_modules), so one click gets your space back. Free, and it runs entirely on your Mac. A jelly pet that lives on your desktop is free for the first 30 days.
I built Pudding because my Mac kept running out of space, and every cleaner I tried either felt scary ("delete 40 GB of system junk?") or looked like a spreadsheet.
Pudding turns your disk into jellies: the bigger the jelly, the more space it takes, so you can see at a glance what's eating your disk. It only suggests things that are safe to delete, like caches, old iPhone backups and node_modules, and tells you why for each one.
A few things I'm happy with:
• Everything runs on your Mac. No account, nothing uploaded.
• It's free, and available in 9 languages.
• A little jelly pet moves onto your desktop, free for your first 30 days. It walks around, swings under the menu bar, naps and dreams, and unlocks new colors as you free up space together. Drag a file you don't need onto it and it eats it; the file waits in a holding area for 7 days in case you change your mind. Support Pudding and the jelly stays for good.
I'd love to hear what you think, especially what it finds on your Mac and anything that feels off. 🍮

Who hunted Pudding?
Pudding was hunted by JIAN. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
