I'm excited to share Proximity Lock with you today.
The idea came from a simple habit—I often walked away from my Mac for a quick coffee or meeting and realized I had forgotten to lock it. I tried different apps, but many needed cloud services, subscriptions, or didn't feel reliable enough.
So I decided to build a solution that is simple, private, and works the way it should.
With Proximity Lock, your Mac automatically locks when you walk away with your iPhone. Everything works over Bluetooth, so there's no cloud, no account, and your data stays on your devices.
Along the way, I added features that I personally wanted:

🚨 Café Mode with a loud alarm if someone touches or moves your Mac.
📱 Remote lock and sleep from your iPhone.
📊 Live battery, connection status, and activity history.
🔐 Support for multiple trusted devices.
This project has been built with a lot of care and many hours of testing to make Bluetooth detection feel fast and reliable while keeping battery usage low.
