I'm the maker behind ProofPing. Excited to share what I've been building solo for the past few weeks.
The story: I got tired of sending proposals into the void. You know that feeling — you spend hours crafting the perfect pitch, hit send, and then...silence. Did they open it? Are they interested? Should I follow up today or wait?
I built ProofPing to end the guessing.
It's dead simple:
1. Paste any link
2. Get a tracked URL
3. Get pinged the second it's opened
Works with everything — Google Docs, Notion, PDFs, portfolios, Loom, Calendly. If it has a URL, ProofPing tracks it.
Currently free forever (5 tracked links/month). Working on a Pro version with location insights, device detection, and unlimited tracking.

honestly this looks super useful, i've been burned too many times not knowing if a proposal email got opened. one thing i'd love to see is the ability to schedule a follow-up reminder if the link hasn't been opened after like 24 or 48 hours, kind of a nudge built right into the extension so you don't have to track that separately in your head
