Hello Everyone, I built ProofCap after seeing how much SaaS acquisition still runs on trust. When someone sells a SaaS business, the revenue "proof" is usually a screenshot and spreadsheet exports, which are things the seller fully controls and can edit. Buyers then spend days trying to verify whether the numbers are real, and deals stall or fall apart in due diligence when they don't hold up. The core idea behind ProofCap is simple. Instead of trusting what a seller shows you, verify what their payment system actually says, It Connects read-only to Stripe (and other billing platforms), reads the real transaction data, cross-checks it against traffic signals to catch inflated or synthetic revenue, and produces a shareable report with a 0 to 100 Plausibility Score. It works for both sides, Founders use it to prove their numbers and sell faster, and buyers, brockers, and PE firms use it to verify a seller's revenue in minutes instead of days. The hardest part to build was the integration work: safely connecting to live payment data through OAuth without ever touching the money, and getting verification logic right so it catches real faked revenue without flagging normal business quirks.
