Hey Product Hunt!
I'm the solo developer behind PROMPT_MATCH. I wanted to see if I could build a high-fidelity, fully responsive browser game wrapped in a gritty, industrial vintage CRT aesthetic.
The objective: Log into the mainframe, protect your global daily streak, and figure out the exact semantic keywords that generated an encrypted AI visual target signal.
I limited myself to some incredibly tight client-side constraints:
- Procedural Audio: Zero .mp3 or .wav asset weight. The hums, terminal keyboard clacks, and the ambient drone theme are synthesized completely live using the browser’s Web Audio API.
- Mobile Interface: I wrote a custom hook using the visualViewport API to handle soft-keyboard compression on mobile web viewports so the CRT screen frame doesn't squish or clip.
- The Watcher: An automated console utility gives you real-time contextual tracking, shifting hot and cold as you zero in on the core dictionary matching array.
The engine is lightweight, serverless, and completely framework-free (just raw HTML, CSS, and vanilla JS) linking to a Supabase matrix for state tracking.
