I'm Christina, a trained translator and legal assistant. No IT background, ProfitPilot is built entirely with no-code tools.
It started with a question I kept hearing from friends who sell their time, a beautician, a translator and a consultant: "I'm busy all the time, so why is there so little left?" Most calculators tell you a price. None of them tell you why a job didn't pay off.
ProfitPilot does three things:
→ It calculates what an hour really costs you. Overhead like rent, car and insurance, plus a salary for yourself including tax and insurance. In my example, every working hour costs €52.88 before there's any profit.
→ It calculates each job with your team's real costs, overhead and travel (driving distance via route planner, or enter your own).
→ After the job, it compares plan and actual and names the cause. In one demo job, the plan said +6.9% margin, the result was −5.5%. 4.5 extra hours explain 91% of the gap. Not the price.
It also works backwards: set a fixed price and it finds the best mix of hours across your team, or tells you the minimum price for your target margin.

One thing I'd really like to know: if you enter your overhead and working hours, does your cost per hour come out plausible? That's where I expect the biggest differences between trades and freelancers.
