I'm Kartik, a Salesforce Developer and Consultant, and I'm excited to share **ProfileShift** with you today.
Over the years, I've worked with many Salesforce orgs where Profiles had grown incredibly complex. As Salesforce continues to encourage Permission Set–based security, migrating from legacy Profiles has become a common challenge—but the process is often manual, repetitive, and difficult to validate.
That's why I built **ProfileShift**.
ProfileShift helps Salesforce admins and developers convert existing Profiles into clean, deployable Permission Sets directly from the browser. It reads Profile metadata from your authenticated org, lets you review and edit permissions, generates minimal Permission Set XML, and can even deploy the result using the Salesforce Metadata API.
