First time maker alert! 🎉
I was checking out the Product Hunt launch page and several products caught my eye. I went about saving them in my weird organized bookmarking fashion for later perusal and I thought - wouldn’t it be cool if Product Hunt had a favorites list?
With the rise of AI, it feels like anyone can build something… so this was the perfect opportunity for me to finally try my hand at building something! 🎉
This favorites list is different than seeing the list of my “upvotes” since that’s everything I’ve every upvoted, anything I found novel, helpful, interesting etc. I wanted the favorites list to help me remember the tools I want to dive in and check out later, tools I want to share with someone else in the future if they ask me, etc. and be able to save notes to reference later.
It took me less than a day to build - a lot of it was spent troubleshooting the code but
I’m happy with it so far - not pretty but functional! 🙌🏽

Congratulations Leeann. I’m so proud of you. You know I have been so interested in technology (learning linux for so many years) and maybe you can help me learn AI so I can make something too.
This is such a cool idea! I’m always finding awesome stuff on Product Hunt but end up losing track of them. Being able to save and organize my favorites in one spot sounds super handy—finally a way to keep everything in one place without bookmarking a million tabs!
Congrats on your first launch, @ph_leeanntrang, especially something that could be so useful to Hunters and Makers alike!! Using just ChatGPT also goes to show that you don't need a massive suite of tools to make something happen 👏

Now I’m not saying they’re good, but Product Hunt already has lists, named collections (sometimes saves).
