I'm an indie developer and Privio started as a frustration project. Every iOS PDF app I tried wanted to upload my documents to their cloud — for OCR, for signing, for "processing." For anyone handling sensitive files — contracts, medical records, client documents — that's a non-starter.
So I built one where nothing leaves the device. No backend. No account. No analytics SDK, no ad SDK. The whole thing runs on-device with Apple Vision, PDFKit, and Apple Intelligence. You can verify it in 30 seconds — enable airplane mode and the entire app still works.
