Hi everyone! I built Previewhost because running and testing multiple worktrees was still too manual.
You can ask your coding agent to start a preview over MCP. It can prepare the configuration, start your frontend, backend, databases, Redis, and setup jobs, then give you a human-readable local URL. Multiple worktrees or repositories can run at the same time, with each preview isolated, and you can monitor logs from the different services in one place.
You can also write a preview.yaml yourself or paste a config into the dashboard. The setup can then be reused for future previews. Previewhost handles dependencies and readiness checks, while secrets stay in config as references, not in the agent chat.
It runs locally, is open source, and works through the dashboard, CLI, MCP, or Node library.
If you run into similar problems, I’d like to hear how you handle them and what you’d want Previewhost to support next.

Who hunted Previewhost?
Previewhost was hunted by Rojhat Toptamus. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
