preludarr
app that finds, previews, and installs theme music
Preludarr is a free, open-source, self-hosted app that finds and installs theme music for anime, TV shows, and movies. Bring your Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby libraries to life with opening songs, soundtrack previews, and automatic theme management.
I've been running my own Plex and Jellyfin servers for years, and one thing I always wanted was an easier way to add theme music to my library, especially anime openings.
I got tired of manually finding songs, converting audio, and putting files into the right folders, so I started building Preludarr.
It's now a free, open-source app that handles theme discovery and installation for anime, TV shows, and movies. It supports Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, Sonarr, Radarr, and Docker.
This started as something for my personal homelab, but I decided to make it public so others could use it too.
I'd really appreciate feedback, especially from Jellyfin and Emby users since those integrations could use more real-world testing.
If you run your own media server, give it a try and let me know what you think!

Who hunted preludarr?
preludarr was hunted by Robert Shed. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
