Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm excited to share PREFLIGHT.
The idea came from seeing how many promising launches get held back by simple, avoidable issues: missing screenshots, weak README files, no demo links, unclear messaging, or incomplete project pages. Often the product is good, but the launch isn't ready.
PREFLIGHT acts like a pre-launch checklist for makers. Paste your GitHub repository and it analyzes your launch readiness, highlights the highest-impact issues to fix, and even provides ready-to-copy improvements such as README content, launch copy, tags, and more.
A few things I wanted to keep simple:
• No sign-up required
• No backend or data collection
• Everything runs in your browser
• Optional AI-generated launch copy using your own API key
My goal was to help founders spend less time guessing what they missed and more time shipping.

the scan-it-against-your-landing-page idea is genuinely clever, most launch tools stop at copy but you actually grade the whole package. love how the score makes the gap obvious before you embarrass yourself on launch day.
Love this idea, especially the tagline generator. One thing that would make it way more useful: let users mark specific repos or folders to exclude from the scan. Some files (like internal docs or experimental projects) skew the score and it'd be great to focus the check on just the launch-ready parts of the codebase.
