Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Dimitar, the creator of Power Copilot.
I built this extension out of personal frustration with the default web interface of Microsoft Copilot and M365 Chat. While the underlying AI models are incredible, the interface frequently slowed down daily:
1. Past research got buried because there was no way to organize chats into folders.
2. I was constantly re-typing the same prompt structures without quick slash shortcuts.
3. Reviewing 50+ lines of refactored code inside a 600px bubble was painful.
4. Comparing prompt iterations meant manually copying text into VS Code or an external diff tool.
So I spent the last few months crafting Power Copilot to bring an IDE-grade productivity layer to Copilot.
Key priorities during development:
🔒 100% Local-First & Private: All folder structures, prompt templates, and PII masking happen strictly client-side via Chrome storage. Zero remote tracking servers.
⚡ Zero Friction: Keyboard-driven backslash shortcuts (\) and quick side-by-side diffing right inside the chat.
The extension is live today with a permanent Free Starter plan.
