Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm the solo developer behind Potopilot.
I built this because I kept shipping features but never posting about them. Sound familiar?
The moment it clicked for me: I pushed a bug fix commit, and 30 seconds later Potopilot sent me an approval email with a generated post. I clicked approve — published to 3 platforms automatically. The product marketed itself.
Happy to answer any questions about the build, the stack, or how the AI generation works. Would love your feedback!
Curious how the "founder story context" actually learns my voice over time, is it pulling from past posts I approve or do I have to feed it examples upfront?
The github commit auto post feature is genuinely clever, picked up on my progress without me having to write a thing. Approval flow keeps it from going off the rails too.
How does the voice training actually work in practice, like does it scrape my old posts or do I have to feed it examples manually, and how well does it pick up on nuance versus just sounding generic?
How well does it actually match your voice after just feeding it a founder story, or do you need to train it on past posts first to avoid sounding like generic AI slop?
How well does the voice matching actually hold up once it starts pulling from commit messages, since those tend to be pretty dry compared to a founder's normal tone?
The GitHub commit auto-generation is clever. Pulled my voice surprisingly well from the founder context I gave it.
One thing I'd love to see is a quick "reject and rewrite" option in the email approval step, maybe with a short reason or tweak note that feeds back into your voice model. Right now it's all or nothing, and I'd hate to lose a post I mostly liked just because one line felt off.
The GitHub commit to post flow is genuinely clever, made a couple of updates and had a draft waiting for me in under a minute. Approval by email keeps it from running wild while I'm heads down coding.
