We’ve been chipping away at our builder community, Posts, for the past little while and are super excited to officially announce its release in the app store today!
Your first question may be why did Read.cv decide to build a Twitter/X clone? The answer to this is twofold.
If you’re unfamiliar, Read.cv is a professional network designed to help you find new opportunities or your next great hire. To achieve this goal we felt it was important to build a more casual social environment for people to connect and build relationships together. We believe less transactional environments can be the best first step in forming a professional relationship—sort of like a pub or cafe.
As Twitter/X has began emphasizing their ‘for you page’ over the people you follow, people are increasingly incentivized to share outrage bait or viral content. In this world we believe there’s space for more niche communities to connect real people with shared interests and goals.

What makes Posts incredible is that it rethinks and simplifies the modern social media experience we all know. Instead of having a community oversaturated by influencers and marketing, Posts truly feels like a genuine place to build authentic community with incredible people.

I’ve been using Post.cv for a while, and it has become one of my quickest ways to mind-shift from social media addiction to productivity. I was trying to hide it as my little wholesome community but it’ll be a shame on me for not verbally out loud with a upvoting on product hunt.
i've been utilizing posts.cv for a whereas - it is, hands down, one of the leading community stages imo. an amazing put to lock in with cool people and find awesome substance. the usefulness and plan are eminent as well.
Posts is my go-to app for when I want to find inspiration, connect with fellow creatives and designers. The community is safe, healthy and idea giving!

This app exudes a delightful and tranquil atmosphere. While the activity may be a bit subdued at the moment, I genuinely believe it has the potential to evolve into the premier professional network for creatives.
Posts is a breath of fresh air for professional networking. In a moment where exiting social media and quitting the networking game is a daily exercise, I find myself impressed and at ease with everything Read.cv has built here. There's a focus on sharing projects and connecting in a way that's been forgotten on other platforms. There's a tight design system. And there's no chaos.

Been on Posts for a while, it's a wonderful community with good vibes all around. Great alternative or supplement to the craziness of Twitter. I appreciate how not all posts are about building too, but just capturing moments from the day. Feels cozy and authentic.
