A teleprompter for phone and browser. Your script scrolls at the lens while the camera rolls, so you hold eye contact and get it in one take. Sync your scripts wtih your laptop.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Sean, maker of PostCrows Teleprompter.
I built it because every time I recorded a video I lost my place or ended up reading off a script sitting beside the lens, so my eyes were never on the camera.
What it does:
- The script scrolls right over the camera preview, so you read at the lens and hold eye contact in one take.
- Change speed, text size and mirror mode mid-take. It picks up from the line you're on.
- Records video with no watermark.
- AI script help: draft a script from a topic, or rewrite a single line.
- Write on your laptop, and it's already on your phone when you hit record.
- Works offline.
You can try the prompter right now in your browser, free, no sign-up: https://postcrows.com/teleprompter
Apps:
- iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/te...
- Android: https://play.google.com/store/ap...
Pricing, upfront: the web prompter is free. The app is free to download with free recordings to start, then $4.99/month for unlimited recording (3-day trial).
I'd love feedback on two things: what would make this your default tool for recording, and what's missing for your workflow (creators, sales videos, presentations, interviews)? I'll be here all day answering questions.
Thanks for checking it out!
