I built PortfolioX because I kept watching talented designers lose jobs they deserved — not because their work wasn't good, but because their portfolios didn't tell the story behind it.
A great case study isn't just screenshots. It's: what was broken, how you figured it out, what you decided and why, and what changed after. That structure is what separates a designer who gets callbacks from one who doesn't. And yet almost no tool helps you build that — they give you a blank page and a grid.
PortfolioX is built around that structure. Every case study has dedicated sections for your problem, research, process, decisions, and impact. AI helps you write each one — but it's prompted with the context of what that section needs to do, not just "write something that sounds good." The output is yours to edit, not something to paste and hope for the best.
