Pomelo
See your Mac's power flow, battery and memory at a glance
A free macOS menu bar app for power flow, battery health, memory pressure and peripheral batteries. Set refresh speeds and charge limits via Shortcuts. English + 繁體中文. Apple silicon beta; not yet notarized. Optional tips, no feature paywalls.
Hi Product Hunt! I built Pomelo to make my Mac's power use easier to understand: what the charger supplies, what the Mac uses, and what the battery and connected devices report.
Pomelo brings power flow, battery temperature, memory pressure, peripheral batteries and app CPU energy into a native Mac interface. You can choose the refresh speed and show watts or memory directly in the menu bar. Charging automation uses Apple's Shortcuts actions: charge fully once, then restore 80%, including a home Wi-Fi trigger.
Version 0.12.0 adds English alongside Traditional Chinese. The app is free with optional Ko-fi tips, and readings and history stay on your Mac.
This is an early Apple silicon beta, recommended for macOS 26.4+. It is not yet Developer ID signed or notarized, so macOS may block it. Wireless iPhone/iPad readings and overnight reconnection are still under validation; app energy numbers cover readable CPU energy rather than complete system power. The website explains these limits before download.
I'd love feedback on the interface, readings and compatibility. Please include your Mac model and macOS version in bug reports. Thanks for trying Pomelo!
