Polymyth is a labor of love.
For 50 years, the best game in the world has been locked behind a wall: you need a Dungeon Master, a free evening for five friends, a $50 rulebook, and the patience to do math all night. I wanted to tear that wall down.
My vision is a platform that brings the magic of role playing to everyone, and that lets the world's best game masters launch their adventures and earn from them. Players just play: no rulebook, no scheduling, no dice math.
Recent advances in AI, the 2024 D&D ruleset going Creative Commons, and coding agents let me spend the last 6 months building a new hybrid game engine, a sophisticated game master AI, and reasoning characters that make it far easier to play solo or multiplayer online.
You sign up, create a character in under 10 minutes, form a party, recruit NPCs, and set out on an adventure. You can level up and even practice 1:1 duels against other characters. The engine handles every complex rule and narrates the results; you play in plain language. One full showcase adventure is live now, with combat, puzzles, social encounters, and exploration for hours of play.
