I have worked in the insurance industry for around 10 years and found that many insurance brokers do not understand what they are selling to their customers. The customers also don’t understand insurance. So I wanted to design a app that could do the following: Analyse Insurance documents and identify gaps in cover / ways to bring insurance costs down. Analyses potential insurance claims to see if this is covered, whether repair costs are reasonable (if applicable) and how much could customers expect to claim for. Because I worked in the insurance sector for a long time I knew what inputs were important for this app to work. I was mainly focused on the apps ability to perform the function well which means it should be able to obtain the correct documents and information, then accurately review the policy or claim. After constant bug fixes and reviews, it turns out the app works very well. In comparison to many insurance brokers, the app actually does a quicker and better job.
