Polaris
Know your relationship with money, not just your balance
Most finance apps ask where your money went. Polaris asks why. Track income, expenses & debt, and reflect on the behavioral patterns behind your decisions. No account. No server. Just you and your money.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Armando, and I built Polaris because I spent years tracking my finances without actually understanding them.
The data was always there. But it never told me why I kept making the same mistakes — why certain purchases felt urgent in the moment and meaningless a week later. The problem wasn't the numbers. It was my relationship with money.
Polaris started as a personal tool and grew into something I genuinely believe fills a gap: a finance app that takes the psychology of spending as seriously as the math.
The Diary is the heart of it — a weekly reflection system across 8 behavioral areas. The Overview connects those reflections to your actual financial data. And everything stays on your device, always.
Would love your honest feedback — especially if you think I'm solving the wrong problem.

Who hunted Polaris?
Polaris was hunted by Armando Sebastiani. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
