Hey PH! 👋 Built this after getting frustrated with bare-bones "random Pokémon" tools that just spit out a number. Pokémon Roulette spins a real 18-type wheel — if it lands on Fire, you get a Fire-type Pokémon. From there you can build a full team, check how it holds up against type threats, and export to Showdown in one click. Built with Next.js, covers all 1,025 Pokémon from Gen 1–9. The type coverage engine calculates real dual-type matchups across all 18 types. Happy to answer any questions — would love to know what features matter most to you as a Pokémon player!

Who hunted Pokémon Roulette?

Pokémon Roulette was hunted by Q.sir. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
