I’m one of the makers behind PokeDemo.
I think product demos should be self-hostable, and paid for once: not rented forever. This is the idea which led us to build PokeDemo.
While working on one of our products, we wanted an interactive demo, but every decent option wanted us on another monthly subscription just to keep the demo alive.
For something that might not change for months (or ever, since this was an mvp), it didn't make sense.
What we wanted was a demo tool that did three things well: record fast, edit cleanly, and let us keep the final result.
It wasn’t as easy as we thought initially, but we built it nonetheless.

Capture: Record your workflow using our Chrome Extension.
Edit: Add tooltips, adjust styling, and use the zoom feature to focus on key actions.
Export: Download your demo as a bundle of assets that you can self-host.
