Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’m the maker of Pokabal, a small card puzzle for iPhone and Mac. The idea is basically solitaire with a poker face: place 25 cards on a 5x5 grid and try to build the best poker hands across both rows and columns. I wanted it to feel calmer and more premium than the usual noisy mobile card game, so I used a classy design and my own photography on the backs of the cards. It is also a mini exhibition for some of them, as you can also tap cards to view the photos larger. The new version adds Wildcard mode with three jokers. Classic mode is free, and Wildcard can be unlocked either with a small in-app purchase or by completing friend challenges. Pokabal now has: * solo play * friend challenges on the same board * Classic and Wildcard modes * fine-art card backs * iPhone and Mac support I’d love feedback on: * whether the game concept is clear * whether friend challenges feel compelling * whether the fine-art card style helps it stand out * whether the Wildcard unlock feels fair Thanks for checking it out.
