Pointer Cue helps people follow what you’re explaining on your Mac. Press Command to show a clear ring around the cursor, or hold Command and drag to outline the exact area you mean. It avoids full drawing tools and extra modes: just the two actions that matter during demos, training, presentations, and screen sharing. The ring motion is tuned to stay noticeable in remote meetings.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt, I built Pointer Cue because I wanted a simpler way to guide people’s attention during Mac demos and screen sharing. When presenting, I often need to do just two things: show where my cursor is, and outline the exact area I’m talking about. Many tools are either too minimal for that or too feature-heavy during a live demo. Pointer Cue keeps it focused: • Press Command to highlight the pointer • Hold Command and drag to outline an area • Choose a color that stands out • Access everything from the menu bar I also tuned the ring motion to stay easy to notice in remote meetings, where screen sharing can sometimes feel choppy. I’d love feedback from anyone who runs demos, presentations, training sessions, or screen shares from a Mac.

Held Command during a quick screen share and the ring actually stayed visible in my teammate's view on Zoom, which is the exact thing I always struggle with. Simple, does what it says, no fuss.
