I built 'Poftim' because sending a file from one device to another still feels more complicated than it should.
With 'Poftim', you open the site on one device, scan the QR code with the other, and send your files directly between them. No account, no app to install, and no uploading your files to cloud storage first.
The name “Poftim” is Romanian — it’s what you say when handing something to someone, basically “here you go.” It felt pretty fitting.
I wanted the whole thing to feel as simple as that: open, scan, send.
