Podsubs
Turn podcast listeners into subscribers you can reach
Podsubs gives podcasts something streaming platforms don't: a direct relationship with their audience. Listeners can find a podcast, subscribe once, and receive the links, resources, updates, and other things mentioned across future episodes — without chasing links after every show. Podcasters can claim their podcast, collect subscribers, and build an audience they can reach directly. Think of it as the subscription layer between podcasts and the people listening to them.
I kept thinking about a simple problem with podcasts.
A host says, “We’ll put the link in the show notes,” or mentions a resource, event, update, or something they want listeners to check out later.
But a lot of people are listening while driving, working, cleaning, exercising, or doing something else. By the time the episode is over, that link is forgotten.
At the same time, podcasters can build huge audiences on listening platforms without having a direct relationship with the people listening.
That’s why I built Podsubs.
The idea is simple: a listener can go to Podsubs, find a podcast, and subscribe once. From then on, the podcast can send them the resources, links, updates, and other things mentioned across future episodes.
For podcasters, they can claim their existing podcast and start building a subscriber base they can actually reach.
I don't want Podsubs to replace Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, or other distribution platforms. They already do distribution incredibly well.
I'm interested in the layer that comes after distribution: the relationship between the creator and the listener.
Podsubs is still early, and that’s exactly why I’m launching it here. I’d love to hear what podcasters and podcast listeners think, what feels useful, what doesn’t, and what you’d want us to build next.
Thanks for checking it out.

Who hunted Podsubs?
Podsubs was hunted by Don Karlos Fru. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
