Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Michael, a software engineer in London. I built Plastic Brains because I wanted an easier way to remember what came up in therapy between sessions. A normal notes app saves what you write, but it does not remind you to read it again. With Plastic Brains, you write a short note after therapy and receive reminders to review it during the week and before your next session. Notes are encrypted and stored only on your iPhone. They never reach our servers. I would especially value honest feedback on the reminder flow, the note-taking experience and whether the app feels calm enough to use after a difficult session. Plastic Brains supports reflection between sessions. It does not replace a therapist, medical advice or emergency support.

Who hunted Plastic Brains?

Plastic Brains was hunted by Michael Sydney Moore. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
