I'm a solo maker, and I built Plainvoice because I got tired of watching every "free" invoicing app pull the same move: free until you actually use it → capped at 3 invoices a month → a surprise price hike → features you had quietly removed and re-sold.
So Plainvoice is the opposite, and it's in writing:
• Unlimited invoices, clients & estimates — free, forever, no counting
• No signup, no account — your data lives on your own device (local-first) and it works offline
• Real PDF export + get-paid links with 0% fees (the money goes straight to you, we never touch it)
• A Pricing Promise: existing users are grandfathered on any change, we tell you first, and we never remove a feature you already have
The only thing that ever costs money is optional AI — describe an invoice in a sentence, snap a photo of a paper one, or translate the whole invoice into your client's language (13 supported). Making invoices by hand is always free.
It's a PWA, so you can add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.
