Pixxta
Your guests snap away. The whole party sees it live.
Guests scan a QR code and post photos from their own phones, no app download. Everyone follows a live feed on their phone; the projector wall is optional and animates each new photo onto the big screen as it arrives. Afterwards, the gallery sorts photos into moments and shows who else shot the same moment.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Christian, the maker of Pixxta.
More than ten years ago I worked as a wedding photographer. I also ran a photo booth rental, and it did so well that I eventually dropped photography and rented out the booth almost every weekend. At every event, whether wedding, birthday or company party, I saw the same thing: guests took great photos on their phones, and the hosts never saw most of them. They stayed in camera rolls or trickled in weeks later through group chats and dead Dropbox links.
Collecting photos via QR code isn't new, and I didn't want to build another upload folder. Those weekends taught me that taking pictures is part of the party, not just a way to document it. So Pixxta is built to do both. Guests scan a QR code and post from their own phones, no app download. On top of that:
- Everyone follows a live feed on their own phone, and an optional projector wall animates each new photo onto the big screen as it arrives - Photo challenges for the quiet stretches, like the wait before dinner or the gap between speeches and cake - Afterwards, the gallery groups photos into moments and shows who else captured the same moment from another angle
I'd love your honest feedback: picture your least tech-savvy relative at a wedding or a 60th birthday. Where in the guest flow would they get stuck?

Pixxta was hunted by Christian. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
