I built this because "just upload to Google Drive" never works. Guests take great photos at weddings but collecting them is painful. Nobody downloads apps. Nobody emails photos later. Pixsie is dead simple: print a QR code, guests scan it, photos upload to your private gallery. No app, no login, no friction. Free for 50 photos. $19 for unlimited. Works for weddings, parties, any event where people take photos you actually want to see.

Hey everyone! I built Pixsie because I noticed something at every party and wedding I went to: people HATE logging in or downloading apps. You ask guests to use some photo sharing app and half of them just don't bother. The other half forgets by the time they get home. I wanted the user experience to be completely seamless. Scan a QR code with your normal phone camera, tap upload, done. No app store. No creating an account. No password. Just photos going where they need to go. The first version was pretty rough. I kept testing it at friends' events and watching where people got stuck. Turns out even small friction points kill adoption. So I stripped out everything unnecessary until scanning to uploading took about 10 seconds. I also want to get this into as many hands as possible, which is why I'm offering an affiliate program. Wedding photographers, planners, venues... if you recommend Pixsie to your clients, you earn 20% of every signup. Refer and earn! Pricing is simple: free for 50 photos, $19 for unlimited, $49 if you want longer storage. I'd love to hear what you think. And honestly, don't you want all your photos in one place after an event?

Who hunted Pixsie?

Pixsie was hunted by Christian. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
