Turn a photo of a table into an Excel file, pull text from screenshots, remove backgrounds and old camera date stamps. Plus HEIC/WebP/AVIF conversion, compress to an exact KB size, resize, crop and passport photos. Everything runs in your browser (WebAssembly + small AI models), so files are never uploaded. Batch processing, no sign-up, no watermark, no daily limits.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built PixFoundry because every "free HEIC to JPG" site I found wanted me to upload private family photos to someone's server, often with daily limits or watermarks.
PixFoundry runs the same codecs Squoosh uses (MozJPEG, libwebp, libavif) plus libheif, compiled to WebAssembly, in Web Workers inside your tab. You can drop a whole folder of iPhone photos and they are converted in parallel without anything leaving your device.
A few things I'm proud of:
• "Compress to 100 KB" actually guarantees the result is under the target
• Display P3 iPhone photos are color-converted correctly instead of coming out washed out
• EXIF removal on HEIC is lossless: GPS is gone, the image data is untouched
• Passport and visa photo sizes for 10 countries, checked against the official requirements
I'd love feedback on which tool to add next!
