Turn any image into pixel art in one click. PixelMaster's free pixel art maker converts photos to pixel art, perler bead patterns, and sprites — no signup needed.
I've been building a small project called MasterThePixel.
The idea is pretty simple: I make a lot of pixel art / game assets, and I kept running into these tiny jobs that didn't really deserve opening a full image editor for.
Stuff like:
turning a normal image into pixel art reducing an image to a limited palette extracting colors from an image experimenting with dithering upscaling pixel art without making it blurry splitting sprite sheets previewing / working with animations
None of these are particularly difficult problems.
That's kind of the point.
I wanted something where I could just open a webpage, throw the image in, do the thing I need, and leave.
So I started building a collection of small pixel-art tools instead of trying to make another Photoshop/Aseprite.
