Pixel Pets
Tiny pixel pets that keep you company on every tab
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Pixel Pets because spending hours in a browser can feel a little quiet and sterile. I wanted to add something warm and playful to everyday browsing—without creating another distracting productivity tool.
Pixel Pets adds tiny animated companions to the bottom of every webpage. They walk, nap, hop, and quietly keep you company while you browse or work. You can choose from eight pets, adjust their size and activity level, show multiple pets, or hide them on specific sites.
Everything runs locally. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, or page-data collection.
The biggest challenge was making the pets feel alive while keeping the extension lightweight and out of the way. I kept simplifying the interface and tuning their behavior until they felt more like calm little companions than widgets demanding attention.
Three pets are free, and Pro unlocks all eight. I’d love to know which pet you choose first—and what tiny behavior you’d like to see next.
Thanks for checking out Pixel Pets! 🐥

Who hunted Pixel Pets?
Pixel Pets was hunted by 张博文. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
