Pixel Museum
Permanent collaborative pixelart museum, rebuilt every month
A contemporary digital museum for collaborative pixel art. Every monthly exhibition opens one global wall that is preserved as a permanent collective artwork.
Hey Product Hunt!
My mom once told me my pixel art would never end up in a museum.
So I built one.
Pixel Museum started from a simple idea: what if hundreds of artists could create one exhibition together, and instead of disappearing after a few days on a social feed, that exhibition stayed permanently accessible?
Every month starts with an empty mural. Artists choose a space, upload their work, and gradually fill the wall together.
When the month ends, that mural is permanently archived and a new exhibition begins.
The first mural has 1,600 base cells, and the entire platform is already finished and functional.
I'm launching this independently and currently looking for the first artists who want to become part of the museum.
I'd especially appreciate feedback on the concept, pricing, and anything that feels confusing or could be improved.
And yes, the site is still on a Vercel domain because I can't really afford a custom domain yet lol.
Thanks for checking it out.
