PixDuplicate is a website and a Progressive Web App where you can select a folder from your system (mobile or PC) to scan for duplicate or similar images. If your browser supports the new File System API, you can delete them completely from your system to save space, or simply move them to a new duplicates folder, where you can later decide what to do with them.

It says that I need to upload all my files for this to work. This seems to contradict the claim that everything happens locally and would also probably take a lot of time.
Congrats on the launch! 🚀 I'm sure it's all above-board but my first reaction is that I'm not sure I'd trust a website with file access to delete things off my laptop. Maybe better to release this as an app store app so people know it's passed some sort of review?
