Hi, I’m Andriy, and I run Pitch Tempo.
A simple way to try it: take a 120 BPM practice track, set tempo to 80% and leave pitch at 0. You get a roughly 96 BPM version to practice with. Or lower a backing track by two semitones while keeping tempo at 100%.
You can also estimate the key and BPM first. Treat those as a starting point and check by ear, especially if the tempo seems half or double what you expect.
A few practical limits: files must be at most 5 minutes and 100 MB. The preview uses the first 20 seconds of the source; export covers the whole uploaded file. Guests get 3 uploads per rolling 24 hours, shared by IP; accounts get 5 per rolling hour. Audio expires 24 hours after the original upload for guests, or 7 days for accounts. Another edit after a completed export needs a new upload.
I’d like to hear which step feels awkward when you use it for practice or sample preparation. That would be useful feedback for the next round of work.
