I'm Michael. I built Pip's World because bedtime stories run out.
You read the same six books until you can recite them with your eyes shut,
and the kid still wants a story, and you're improvising something about a
dinosaur at eleven at night with nothing left in the tank.
So: Pip is a tiny orange dragon who can't sleep either. He turns up at the
window in episode one and your child goes with him — by their real first
name, their age, and the things they're actually into. If you want, Pip's
world draws them in, and they look the same from that night onward.
The part I care most about is that it continues. It isn't a story generator
that spits out something disconnected every time. New friends arrive, new
places open up, and the story remembers what already happened. Night after
night it's the same saga, and your child is in it.
Some specifics:
• Ages roughly 3–9. Short sentences, gentle plots, and an ending built to
wind down rather than wind up.
• Every page can be read aloud. Pip narrates and each character speaks their
own lines in their own voice, so you can hand it over on the nights you
have nothing left.
• The first story is free and doesn't ask for a card.
• Pro is $11.99/month for 13 new stories a month. Pro Plus is $19.99/month
for 20. Annual saves about 24%.
• If you cancel, every story you've made stays in your account to re-read
forever. Only the allowance of new ones stops.
On privacy, because it's someone's child: it collects a first name, an age,
and some interests. That's it. No photos, no surnames, no location. It isn't
sold and it isn't used for advertising, and you can delete all of it.
