Buy a pin on the world map — biggest pin owns the region
Drop a pin anywhere on the world map for $2. The biggest pin owns its region, and seven regions means seven #1 spots. Every pin's heat halves every 30 days, so holding a spot means coming back. Every rank is a verified payment, and the receipts are public.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Adam. Every "launch your product here" board I kept running into was a list, and every list looked like every other list. So I made the list a map.
PinMap is a world map you buy your way onto. You click the exact spot you want — not a category, an actual place — and $2 puts your pin there. The biggest pin owns its region.
Two things I did differently from the pay-to-rank boards this genre grew out of:
Seven #1 spots, not one. A single global leaderboard has exactly one premium position, so everyone below it is buying a consolation prize. Splitting the world into seven regions creates seven ladders. "#1 in Asia" is a claim you can actually use.
Pins fade. A pin's heat halves every 30 days. On a board where rank never decays, $2 buys a spot forever and the map quietly dies. Here, holding a position means coming back — which is a real cost, so I'd rather say it on the front page than bury it in the terms.
The part I care most about: none of the numbers ask to be believed. /stats itemises every settled payment, and rank only moves through the payment webhook — there's no admin path and no seeded pins. If I'd put my thumb on the scale, the receipts would show it.
It's a novelty ad product, not SaaS. $2, one payment, no account, no subscription. If you've got something you want seen, the map's open.
Genuinely happy to take the sceptical questions — I expect a few.
