I built pictureMng after getting tired of paying for cloud storage just to back up my phone's photos. I wanted something simple: back up straight to my own PC at home, full resolution, no limits, no subscription.
The app pairs with a small server program (just an .exe, no Docker needed) running on your Windows PC via QR code, then backs up over your home WiFi with HTTPS.
It's still in private beta and I'd love your feedback — especially on setup friction and backup reliability. Would really appreciate you trying it out!
