The idea came from my own annoyance: every time I copied text from a screenshot, a scanned page, or a photo of a whiteboard, OCR tools handed me a wall of text I couldn't fully trust — wrong characters, broken tables, no easy way to check against the original.
PicToTxt flips the workflow: the image sits right beside the result, and every character is editable before you copy or export. Plain text, Markdown tables, or TSV for spreadsheets. The default recognition runs entirely in your browser, so your document never leaves your device; cloud recognition is there for tougher scans.
