Picsorta
Sort your photos into folders at the speed of thought
Picsorta is a free, browser-based tool for sorting and culling large photo sets. Map your arrow keys to four destination folders and file each image with one keypress. Zoom, pan, undo with Ctrl+Z, and move originals losslessly. It runs entirely in your browser — no uploads, no cloud, no account. Your images never leave your device. Perfect for photographers culling a shoot, or anyone taming a messy downloads folder. Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I built Picsorta because sorting through hundreds of photos after a shoot or a
trip was painfully slow with existing tools. The idea is simple: your four arrow
keys become four folders, and you file each image with a single keypress.
What makes it different:
- 100% local — it uses the File System Access API, so your photos never get
uploaded anywhere. No cloud, no account, nothing leaves your device.
- Lossless — it moves your original files, never re-compresses them.
- Fast — zoom/pan to inspect, Ctrl+Z to undo, and just keep going.
It's completely free. I'd love your feedback on what to build next!
