PicReminder is a simple photo-centered reminder app. Choose a photo, add a short note, and set a date and time to show it to your future self. Unlike general task apps, the photo is the center of the experience. No sign-in, no cloud, no AI, no ads, and all data stays on your device.
I built PicReminder because text-only reminders can sometimes start to feel like just another to-do list.
PicReminder is a simple photo-centered reminder app: choose a photo, add a short note, and set a date and time so that the photo can be shown to your future self.
Apple Reminders can already attach photos, but I wanted to make the photo itself the center of the experience. A photo can carry more context — not only what you wanted to remember, but also something about the situation or moment around it.
Even after a reminder is completed, the photo can remain as a small clue to something that happened in the past.
I also wanted to keep the app very simple: no sign-in, no cloud integration, no AI, no ads, and all data stays on the device.
